Visual Fields

The Visual Fields series is an ongoing painting project I started about fifteen years ago.

My intention has always been to appropriate the surface offered by the canvas as much as I can, focusing all my attention on color and composition. 

In doing so, I aim to create a "presence" – a physical presence that engages not only the viewer but also the space it inhabits.
